New note : *Perfect CSS styles loading*
I try to load CSS style in what seems to me the most optimized way possible with Jekyll
tl;dr : With a Liquid trick, I ask Jekyll to include only css blocs that are used in the page and to display them directly in the HEAD tag.

I think my little blog is now well accessible to all kinds of visitors. I tried to integrate ARIA the best I can, to use a maximum of what html5 had to offer and validate everything with the help of W3C to make the navigation pleasant to any visitor. I hope it's all right!

(if a visually impaired person would want to help me confirm that it works, it would be great!)

I finally finished translating my first blog post :
**10 reasons to let the planet die !**

I hope it'll be understandable! (at least as much as french version 😅)

I have encountered more image descriptions on Mastodon in 24 hours than I have in Twitter in a couple of years. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating.
As a blind person, this means a lot to me. If you read this and you describe your images, thank you so, so, so much on behalf of all of us. If you don't, now you know you'll be helping random Internet strangers make sense of your posts by typing in a few more words than usual.

Just found this drawing from a few years ago. My first on black paper.

Downshifting (long) definition

Downshifting is a social behavior or trend in which individuals live simpler lives to escape from the rat race of obsessive materialism and to reduce the stress, overtime, and psychological expense that may accompany it. It emphasizes finding an improved balance between leisure and work and focusing life goals on personal fulfillment and relationship building instead of the all-consuming pursuit of economic success.

Started to translate my blog to english.. I'd like to practice my english writing and spread my thoughts around the world to dominate it one day or another. Now you know.

someone: *sentence-long question*
me: *pages and pages of response*
me: *haha oops that's awkward*
me: *nervously inserting several more pages of response*
me: *thought of something else*
me: *haha apologizing again*
me: *haha one more apology*
me: *haha talk to you later bye*

I just found this past artifact on my childhood desk, it turned me into a profound nostalgia.

Back in the days, I had a 2h/month 48kbps internet connection. Needless to say downloading a whole operating system was way out of my league. Luckily for teenage me, canonical was sending install CD for free back then. GCC and gedit were included in the CD. I learned C programming on that system.

I just realized this CD is now 14yo. I spent this 2007, summer helping a local paragliding club to operate in exchange of some free flying instruction. I remember a old man was learning to fly at that club this summer, we talked a lot. A early morning, he told me something I still remember word by word

> You'll see, life is pretty short in the end, I vividly remember when I was your age, I was once talking to a man about my age now, and he told me "you'll see, in no time, you'll have my age, you'll look at a youngster and feel like you were like him just yesterday.

I responded with a stupid joke on dementia, he laughed and we moved on.

He was right: it really feels like it was yesterday. I wish I could tell him he was right after all. I sadly can't remember his name. I'm not even sure he's still alive.

Yes. This is exactly what programming is like.

This would actually be an amazingly effective way to teach people how computers work and what computer programming is.
